And when we parted ways I just couldn't find the words to say Its odd how all the things you said Keep ringing in my head You said I should go... Oh... This is a fair warning... I still have so much on my mind... Oh... My world is a softly muted musical All our lives just pass us by (lives just pass us by) Unattended Well, I suppose that it is something of a blessing to be living But I don't think that pretending that you've given any thought To individual perceptions like some personal savant Will get you anywhere you want And I don't mean to push the point Or purposefully press But the topic at hand surely needs to be addressed Mmmmm... Ah... Sometimes we seem to forget the things That brought us the bringing of wonderful feelings But sometimes when we go back to them We're reminded once again We can create... Something so wonderful If we'd only *ahem* Apply our minds And now that I've gotten back to it Its a rushing effect What I thought to expect: Was I'd always be so overcome with regrets 'Cause I never finish my thoughts And I've thought of life and what I am Thought of what it means to be Thought of what I have become Thought of what I used to be Oh! I think of how I love to laugh And wonder how my life will pass I think until my head just aches So, no longer will I wait to say To simply say what's on my mind Oh! What's on my mind?

Daytime dreamer Your life is such a mess Your convoluted feelings Aren't making any sense Growing up is learning Cope with all your faults Learning to cope with all your faults Is no fault of your own But your whole life you've been holding back And now that you're not used to it You can't hold back at all You're a firm believer And you get what you deserve But you can't just go through life Based on such a simple learning curve You say it helps define your way Well, you could use the gain of step I think you may have lost your sense And got all indirect If your whole life you just avoid mistakes Don't you think you'd reach a point Where you'd just mess up all the time? When I followed through with that You gave a brow-less smile Did you think no one would call you out For half-assing denial? Act all the while Like you really don't give a care But please just don't complain When all it gets you is nowhere If your whole life you just ignore the fact Don't you think you'd never know Why you were always at a lack? There's such a thing as moving on Its not a loss to fall behind again Its not a point of right or wrong But there's no excuse to not try again Do you think you've got so many problems That you choose to wallow in your own self-pity? Huh! Like you've got it so bad Like you've got it so bad Like you've got it so bad Like you've got it so bad

What comes to mind? Experience the first time What comes to mind? Won't you talk about the first time? When you walked in for the first time To a place you didn't know Would a long walk to nowhere Have gotten you somewhere better to go? Did you re-think the things? That brought the bring? In your brought'n together In your way to whichever Its the way that you got to where you are today And when the sound You find has been surrounding you Hides but not founds And rounds out the end of a time once well spent Will you do it all again? Go on, pretend you have friends But you'll be finding the surroundings Make you feel all down again And have you noticed yet? How it follows a trend And in a roundabout way It helps to make for better sense And all I know is I could use a solid friend To go walking right beside me When I go nowhere again Because sometimes no direction Is that catch to your attention That prevents you from preventing Saying that which you've been thinking In your mind So when the time arises Eyes are wide to what you're saying Even if it really isn't making any sense And what then? It clearly evens out And if it carries to a downfall Its if life has spoke aloud and said: This is what you get So you might as well accept it

Heart beats faster As I'm staring down the line Breathing slower And I'm thinking 'bout the time When in my life I can finally feel alive Feel like I might Just try to better make the time But we are living in a world so frail Where we'd more than often not opt for a loss But often fail to break it even Grasp let slip to leave an empty hand A loss to let me know just where I stand I'll process a reaction once I've left Right behind the part where I reflect I am now starting Got an image in my head And I was once heading In directions left unsaid I'll manifest The process of a thought Solidify My ideas how I want And I will take a new direction Let it focus, focus With a lack of all discretion In a hope for motion! Grasp let slip to leave an empty hand A loss to let me know just where I stand I'll process a reaction once I've left Right behind the part where I reflect

Ooooo... Ahhhhh...... Mmmmm..... Awkward movement Shared in unison With no following through again Now begins an act A process of fact Sent back through holes in the mind Recalled from childhood times What you were hoping to find Was lost somewhere between the cracks in conversation Too early... Too late... Right on time in the way of a slight improvement What you thought you could gain Was a peaceful refrain Was more of the same As what been done to you One once close to you Taught you through A slight removal Of your old youth What you thought you could gain Was a peaceful refrain Was more of the same As what been done to you One once close to you Taught you through A slight removal Of your old youth And it twisted you And once again... You played your part in full Made use of things you should have let go A process of a lesser known fact A lesson learned but hard-pressed for worth A shapeless form of what you once were...

When I see the face My heart does melt Feeling like I've never felt It warms right up'n From a rush of blood'n Then it flushes blushing To a face so loving With a pump and pulling Of a constant flowing A showing signing Of a better timing A near reminding A founded finding A focal fraction Of reacted actions Based on interactions Past and present passings Of the bestest happenings That we're finally having No fear of finding A near-reminding Feeling fine With the passing by Of a time well spent In a present tense Of a certain type Of lost threat That predetermines Your course of events And renders a near completion
7.
This new and kind sensation Well, it's been starting to pull A different direction in the here and now Was all it could go With manipulating currents Flourishing From the underside of time Remainder to it's prime Multiplying, intersecting lines A process of the portions left behind Momentary occupants jump One plane to the next Traveling a high-speed process Of motion giving birth to motion
8.
Calm yourself I'm here now Place yourself Where I will face you well You know, You always do something That makes me laugh and think It's such a touching thing That sense of comforting And touch softly As you pass by me Talk kindly As you do remind me... Of a better time... Calm yourself I'm here now
9.
Now Continuing on Let shift Uplift Into calm Direct Approaches I couldn't help but notice Your set-back approaches And now that I know this I'll step back And focus once again You'll know this new approach
10.
Simple state the fact It helps to bring you back You'll get so near to home You'll know not where to go And when you find your head Is not a mess You'll no longer pretend Such pretentious Pretenses of that aforementioned fact
11.
The start came with A circle back around And then the founded finding Started full unwinding With a simple sigh... Those twisted thoughts Have brought dishonest progress Simple act of kindness Brings a knack for violence In the mind its hiding Its a thought that's binded to society (guitar solo) Its coming back... Retrogressed mentality Its coming back... Mass-divide society The past is coming back to bite us in the ass... And if we don't find a new solution We will find we will be losing All our findings All at once In one defining moment A new energy that's human born Will change the evolution course And yes it will be fucked
12.
Early morning, Sometime later Full-effect... In retrospect, I saw my life unfolding For the first time The very first time...
13.
Well, let's go with a... Well, here it is again That familiar head feeling And giving visions of a time Warm within my mind I've been finding all these memories I know I have not had Perhaps a future viewing Of a proper follow through(ing) A time well spent In the present tense A spelled out thought Self-reference Shift it to Direct approach Allowing thoughts Expressed in full Hesitation Slight sensation Sudden burst Creative flourish Carry on No holding back Make a move To follow through Will foresight yield a new approach? Allowing second graces Returning to a place That has no shape within your mind Time will help you find A proper rhyming to your life Well, here it is again That familiar head feeling... And gone

(instrumental) (but if you listen real close you can hear the doves chime in at the 2:13 mark)
15.
I had an image in my head Couldn't find a solid shape To represent the feeling that it gave Was such a warm embrace And now I seek to find a shape A move with hope to now replace The feeling that I lost was found And found was sound surrounding silence Breaking from the pattern set With lack of all respect for form But forming in the process Motion forward with a new approach A new approach A new approach And this one in full view for all to see
